• Core Vocabulary: An arsenal of approximately 800 everyday words covering crucial topics like family, time, food, shopping, and travel.

• Foundational Grammar: The essential rules of sentence building. You’ll master the polite です/ます (desu/masu) forms, past and present tenses, basic adjectives, and the crucial particles (は, が, を, に, で) that connect Japanese ideas together.

• Practical Reading & Listening: Strategies to read short, everyday passages and understand slow, simple spoken dialogues from classroom and daily life situations.

Course Structure at a Glance

The JLPT N5 exam evaluates you in three main areas, and our course is structured to train each of these skills in tandem from day one:

Key Insight for Success: The JLPT N5 requires a minimum score in each individual section to pass (an 80/180 overall score, but at least a 38/120 in reading/grammar and 19/60 in listening). You cannot pass by acing reading but ignoring listening — which is why our platform includes integrated audio practice in every module.
