The Nursery 1 program gently introduces very young learners to the basics of cleanliness, good habits, and simple safety through fun activities, stories, pictures, and daily routines. Children learn to wash their hands, keep their toys and classroom tidy, throw waste in the right place, and follow simple instructions. The program builds early discipline, awareness, and responsibility by helping children understand what is clean and what is dirty, what is safe and unsafe, and how to take care of their surroundings.

What Nursery 1 Students Will Learn

Nursery 1 children learn early hygiene habits like washing hands, keeping their clothes and bags clean, and placing toys back in the right place. They are introduced to recognizing waste, not littering, and using dustbins correctly. They also learn simple safety rules—staying close to adults, not touching sharp or hot objects, and playing safely with friends. Through guided routines, children begin to practice sharing, waiting their turn, and working together to keep the classroom clean.

How This Program Supports Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

This program lays the foundation for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by teaching the simplest forms of cleanliness from the earliest age. By learning not to litter, to use dustbins, to keep toilets and play areas clean, and to value hygiene, children develop habits that support a clean environment. These early lessons encourage children to practice cleanliness at home and school, helping families and communities embrace the spirit of Swachh Bharat. The program nurtures a generation that naturally respects cleanliness and contributes to a cleaner and healthier country.
